Introduction

NarraCraft ("we," "our," or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information when you use our iOS application.

Information We Collect

Data You Create

NarraCraft is designed to store all your data locally on your device. We collect and store:

• Story Content: All interactive fiction stories you create, including text, choices, variables, and narrative structures
• Document Metadata: Story titles, creation dates, and modification dates
• App Settings: Your preferences for the app interface and editing experience

Data We Do NOT Collect

NarraCraft does not collect, transmit, or share:

• Personal information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Location data
• Device identifiers
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Crash reports (unless you explicitly choose to share them with Apple)
• Any information that leaves your device

How We Use Your Information

All data created in NarraCraft is stored locally on your iOS device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework. Your stories and content:

• Remain on your device
• Are never transmitted to our servers (we don't have any)
• Are never shared with third parties
• Are never used for analytics, advertising, or any other purpose
• Are backed up through your standard iOS backup process (iCloud or iTunes)

Data Storage and Security

• Local Storage: All app data is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework
• iOS Security: Your data benefits from iOS built-in security features, including device encryption
• Backups: Your stories are included in your device backups (iCloud or computer backups) based on your iOS settings
• No Cloud Sync: NarraCraft does not sync data to cloud services (other than standard iOS backups)

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your information with third parties. Period.

The app includes functionality to export your stories as .ink script files, which you can then share at your discretion using iOS's standard share sheet. Any sharing of your content is entirely under your control.

Third-Party Services

NarraCraft does not integrate with any third-party services for:

• Analytics
• Advertising
• Crash reporting
• Social media
• Cloud storage

The app uses Apple's standard frameworks (SwiftUI, SwiftData) which operate according to Apple's privacy policies.

Children's Privacy

NarraCraft does not knowingly collect any information from children or any other users. The app is designed for creative writing and storytelling and can be used by users of all ages. Since all data remains local on the device and we collect no personal information, COPPA compliance concerns do not apply.

Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data:

• Delete Individual Stories: Delete any story from the library view by swiping and tapping delete
• Delete All Data: Uninstalling the app removes all local data from your device
• Factory Reset: Resetting your iOS device removes all app data

Since we don't collect any data on our servers, there's nothing for us to delete on our end.

Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:

• Access: View all your stories anytime in the app
• Modify: Edit any story at any time
• Export: Export stories as .ink files for backup or sharing
• Delete: Remove any or all stories at any time
• Control: Your data never leaves your device without your explicit action

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by:

• Updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy
• Providing an in-app notification when you update to a new version with policy changes

Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

International Users

NarraCraft stores all data locally on your device, regardless of your location. The app operates the same way worldwide and complies with data protection regulations by design (data minimization and local storage).
